Pat Lane

My love for fitness started back when I was young. I was a high school and then college wrestler, which taught me how to compete but also how to train athletes to compete. For seven years I coached high school wrestling at Indian Hills in New Jersey. Over years of coaching, our training evolved around strength and explosive methods and General Physical Preparedness (GPP).

The decision to open Signature Health & Fitness, back in 2012, came from not only my love for fitness but also to try and create something in my hometown that allowed people to get fit and healthy at a reasonable price. I have seen transformation from people who have never worked out a day in their lives to student athletes who have been training for years. I believe working out can be for anyone which is why I have created programs that work for all fitness levels.

Amanda Lane

My name is Amanda Lane and I am a Personal Trainer at Signature Health & Fitness. I am originally from California but have lived all over the US as well as in Canada. I graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Major in Marketing & Minor in Information Systems.

I have always had a passion for fitness and nutrition - I grew up playing sports, I was constantly working out, my first job was at a gym and when I wasn't in season for a sport I was playing I was doing stats for other teams. When my family opened up Signature Health & Fitness in Dubuque I decided it was something I wanted to be a part of any way that I could. This passion led to my decision to become a certified Personal Trainer. About a year after I became a trainer I decided to get certified in Yoga Up (yoga sculpting class) and another year after that I became 200 hour yoga trained because I fell in love with yoga - I never thought that would be something that interested me but once I got involved I couldn't stop and am so happy I started my yoga journey.

I have always helped my friends and family with their personal fitness goals and in doing so I realized how much I enjoy being a part of their fitness journey and helping them build a healthier lifestyle. I understand how valuable everyone's time is and know that when you make a commitment to a healthier more fit life you want to make sure your time in the gym is productive and gives you the results that you are looking for. Michael Martin

Michael Martin joins the staff the Signature Fitness staff by way of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. At UW-Platteville, Michael is an Assistant Athletic Trainer who primarily works with Women’s Soccer, Men’s Basketball and Track & Field. Martin is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach who works primarily with Men’s Basketball.

While at UW-Platteville Martin has had the pleasure to work with elite level athletes resulting in 8 individual national titles, multiple All-Americans, a USATF distance Runner of the Year, a Conference Player of the Year, a Regional Player of the Year and an NFL athlete. Along with 2 back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances, including a 2018 Sweet Sixteen appearance, 2018 WIAC Conference Championship, and a 2019 WIAC Conference Tournament Championship.

During the 2015-2016 academic year, Martin worked was a graduate assistant athletic trainer while finishing his masters in Kinesiology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and working towards a Master’s Degree in Adult Education at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Prior to coming to the UW-Platteville, Martin was a graduate intern Strength and Conditioning Coach with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Strength and Conditioning Program mainly, working with the UW football team. Martin also worked as an athletic trainer with the UW Health Outreach program providing Athletic Training coverage to local teams of a variety of sports around the Madison area.

Martin, a Licensed Athletic Trainer in both the state of Wisconsin and Iowa and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. He also is a Certified Strength and Condition Coach and is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In addition, Martin is Functional Movement Screening Certified (FMS) and is a USA Weightlifting certified coach.

Martin, a native of Madison, WI, attended Loras College where he was a member of the football and rugby teams, in addition to receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training and a minor in Coaching in May of 2014.

Kale Mccormick

I believe in focusing on the things in life that you control and the rest will take care of itself. Exercise and proper meal plans put you in control and I am here to put those reigns into your hands! I have experience working with clients with goals ranging from weight/fat loss, to strength gains and sport specific training. I have also trained myself as an amateur power lifter, CrossFit athlete, and endurance athlete. I have coached sports from Elementary, Middle/High School all the way up to the NCAA Level. I have an overwhelming desire to coach you, and help you become the best version of yourself.

Aaron Johnston

As a young man, I enjoyed team sports including baseball, soccer, and basketball.  As I reached high school, I discovered the challenge and reward of martial arts, beginning with Tai Chi and Wing Chun.  In 2003 I began my journey in American Kenpo, sticking with it through the years in order to be able to teach, having recently acheived a 4th degree black belt.  Due to my insatiable curiosity, I have since explored several disciplines of self defense; Hapkido, Baguazhang, Shaolin Fist, Jeet Kune Do, fencing, to name a few.  

In 2009 I joined the Iowa Army National Guard, recently transferring to A Company, 1-133 Infantry in Dubuque where I serve as a team leader and unit master fitness trainer.

My curiosity led me to explore a career in alternative health, pursuing a Master’s of Acupuncture at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, 2014-2016.  My wife and I decided to put that on hold for the foreseeable future, at which time I obtained my personal trainer certification through NASM in December 2017.

Over the last 20 years, I have enjoyed helping people achieve their goals.  My passion in life has been to see people gaining new skills, knowledge and abilities in order to pursue their passions injury free.  Let me help you reach your goals, starting today!

Eli Licht

Hi!  My name is Eli Licht and I am a Personal Trainer, Fitness Class Instructor and a Certified Health and Wellness Coach.

Previously, I was in education and I truly enjoyed teaching people to reach their goals, since then my focus has shifted to Wellness. In 2013 I had developed poor health habits due to a busy family life.  I knew my new unhealthy lifestyle couldn't be something I could sustain and because of that I decided to make a change, which made my family my WHY. I developed better eating habits and started working out, but I couldn’t have done this without help. The help that I received from others during my fitness journey is what inspired me to want to help other people. I will be at your side to help you reach your goals, as people did for me.

We will find your WHY, identify your barriers and show you how training at Signature will fit into your busy lifestyle. Life is busy, but you should never be too busy to stop focusing on yourself!  

I believe that optimal health is meant for all persons and I am passionate about making this become a reality for you! I am excited to share my passion for Wellness education to Signature Health and Fitness.
